As an indie author, every book I publish is truly a labor of love. While each manuscript goes through multiple rounds of editing, there's something incredibly valuable about having passionate readers experience the story before it's released into the world.
I'm looking for readers who love fantasy, aren't afraid to share their honest opinions, and enjoy helping authors create the best books possible.
If that sounds like you, I'd be honored to have you along for the journey.
What is an ARC?
An Advance Reader Copy (ARC) is an early copy of a book provided before publication.
In exchange, I simply ask for your honest feedback and, if you enjoy the book, an honest review once it's released.
This isn't about getting five-star ratings.
It's about making the story stronger.
What I'm Looking For
I don't expect professional editors or literary critics. I just want your genuine reading experience.
As you read, I'd love to know things like:
• Did you connect with the characters?
• Were there any characters you absolutely loved—or couldn't stand?
• Did any scenes make you laugh, cry, gasp, or stay up way too late because you had to know what happened next?
• Were there moments that felt confusing or needed more explanation?
• Did the pacing feel right, or did parts move too quickly or too slowly?
• Was there anything you wished had been explored more?
• Did you catch any spelling mistakes, grammar issues, missing words, or formatting errors that slipped past me?
• Were there any plot holes, inconsistencies, or continuity mistakes you noticed?
• Did the ending leave you excited to keep reading?
You don't have to answer every question. Even a simple "I loved this character," or "Chapter 12 confused me," is incredibly helpful.
Every piece of feedback helps me grow as an author.
What I Ask in Return
If you're selected as an ARC reader, I ask that you:
• Read the book before (or as close to) release day as possible.
• Leave an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, StoryGraph, or wherever you normally review books.
• Keep the ARC for your personal use and avoid sharing the file.
• Remember that you're reading an advance copy, so there may still be a few small edits before publication.
